An Internship = (A Real Job) – (Health Benefits + Security + Self-Esteem + Monetary Compensation).

Interns are usually paid in experience and promises and good intentions.

The road to Capitalist Hell is paved with good intentions.

And a good reference is lovely but 1) give me five minutes and you’ll know all you need to know about how I work and 2) it doesn’t put food on the table or beer in my stomach.
