If there were just one humanitarian outreach project into which I’d pour my better sentiments, it might just be helping homeless people…
…quit smoking.
It would cut back a fixed expense such that they could buy food that’s not fast food, which is not only disgusting and delicious but addictive in its own right. (You wanna be rich? Push a product that the human body loves and thinks it can’t do without. Simple.)
But yes, homeless people would feel more refreshed, cleaner, they’d breath more deeply and fully, think clearly and have a better sense of who they are and of their situation–
