I’ve probably had longer weeks-and-a-half in my life, and I’ll probably have some more.

It’s been a week and a half since I ordered my dartboard online. I’m going to hang it in my living room, to go with the Yuengling mirror and the hardwood floor and the sawdust, liquor license, NYU girls and Golden Tee machine. I do wonder what it says that slowly, piece by piece, I’m turning my living space into a bar. Maybe like in so many other ways, I won’t deal with reality – not wanting to spend too much time or money in actual bars, in this case – but heck, it’s a nice atmosphere in there, not unlike the Gryffindor common room.

Due to a series of delivery SNAFUs involving shipments arriving at my locked-vestibuled, doormanless apartment building while I’m a borough away at work, I’m picking up this board at the shipment center tomorrow. I went yesterday and it was closed. I will not be denied!
