Where Credit is Due
I’d cancel my credit card for all the difficulty they’ve given me over the last few months, but even THAT is bad for my credit, from what I’ve heard.
It says it all about these companies when “PAY MY BILL” is the most easily located button on the entire site, whereas “Contact us” is enshrouded in secret and difficulty like the idol in the opening Raiders of the Lost Ark.
I’ve called them several times now, and don’t want to call again to ask yet another question – I’ll have to wait another month to see if a particular charge will be dropped. That’s not to say “Jeremy” from downtown New Dehli America wasn’t helpful, indeed he was – but what he had to say contradicted “Jane”s two cents from ten days previous. So now I’ll do what they want me to do – nothing – after throwing money at a problem to go away.
No more American pastime than that. Happy 4th, one day late. I bet I’ll have to pay a finance charge on those good wishes.
